Ingredients

2-3 Turmeric Roots

1 tablespoon of Honey

1 cup of Water

1/2 Lemon

Preparation


  1. Prepare the Turmeric:

    • Wear gloves to avoid staining your hands. Begin by peeling the turmeric roots using a peeler.

    • Boil the peeled turmeric roots in a pan for 1-2 minutes until they become slightly tender.

  2. Blend the Ingredients:

    • Chop the boiled turmeric roots into smaller pieces and place them into a blender.

    • Add a cup of water to the blender.

    • Cut the lemon into chunks and remove the skin. Add the lemon chunks into the blender as well.

  3. Blend Until Smooth:

    • Blend the ingredients until you achieve a smooth consistency.

  4. Strain the Mixture:

    • Place a sieve over a clean glass container.

    • Pour the blended mixture through the sieve to separate the liquid from the pulp. You can either discard the pulp or save it for later use in curries or other recipes.

  5. Final Touches:

    • Stir in a tablespoon of honey into the strained liquid and mix well.

  6. Storage and Serving:

    • Transfer the turmeric immunity shot liquid into a glass container with a lid.

    • Store it in the refrigerator for up to one week.
